Life After Sage
At Sage, we dedicate ourselves to nurturing all aspects of academically gifted students. After completing the Middle School, students are well prepared for their transition to secondary school. We hear reports from students, parents, and high school teachers that our students are well prepared academically and socially. In addition, our students share that, unlike many of their high school peers, they continue to value and nurture the friendships made during their elementary school and middle school years at Sage. Our students share a special bond and remain close to one another.
Many people ask us how well our students transition from such a small environment at Sage to schools which are inevitably much larger. Whether they transition to public or private, day or boarding, single sex or co-ed schools our alumni agree that the confidence they gained at Sage prepared them exceedingly well for their next step. They enter their secondary schools with the essential skills needed to work through friendship issues, advocate for themselves with peers and adult, and tackle new challenges. They are ready and eager to try new sports, audition for plays, lead admission tours, and participate in community service. While we come to expect the outstanding academic success of our graduates we take even greater pride in the leadership roles they assume and their commitment to being responsible citizens.
