The Sage Learning Experience
We believe the process of learning is as important as the outcome. At Sage, the starting point for the curriculum delivery process begins with recognizing the different learning styles, temperaments, patterns of growth, and development of each of our students. This is facilitated by regular communication between faculty members about each student’s progress.
We assess each student during the beginning of the school year in order to track the student’s progress and appropriate instructional level for specific subjects. Additional assessments occur throughout the year to evaluate instructional subgroups as new curriculum components are introduced.
This in-depth understanding of each student’s abilities enables us to form productive classroom groups based on ability, social/emotional development, and learning pace. In addition, it equips faculty, students, and families to set proper goals and expectations for each individual student, based on learning style and academic potential.
