Interactive Learning
We take an inquiry-based, in-depth approach to teaching … which results in a more engaging, less repetitive classroom experience for gifted learners. Because of the care we take in the proper grouping of students, our classes form productive peer groups and create a “normalized” learning experience.
With uncommonly low class sizes, we are able to offer greater flexibility to address the needs of each class and individual students within the class.
As a result, our classrooms are filled with dynamic group discussions and Q&As, project-based activities, and classroom brainstorming sessions. By engaging students in active dialogue, our teachers are able to promote the synthesis and analysis of ideas; encourage self-expression, creativity, and problem solving; and integrate themes into a broader context.
Through active participation in the learning process, Sage students quickly accept responsibility for and ownership of their own educational experience.
