Summer Sage
At Summer Sage learning is fun! This is a summer day program dedicated to providing enrichment and traditional day camp activities for inquisitive and motivated youth during the summer months.
Program Options
PreK-K Program - Ages 4-6 years old (half day & full day options)
School Age Program - Ages 7-11 years old
Staff
Our staff is made up of certified educators and experienced leaders selected for their enthusiasm for learning and working with children. Staff members are dedicated to making the Summer Sage experience fun and engaging. For the safety of all, CPR and first-aid certified individuals will be on staff.
Dates & Time
Summer Sage will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for four weeks from July 19, 2010 until August 13, 2010. Pick and choose the weeks you want to attend. It is not mandatory to sign up for all four weeks, however there is a 10% discount for registering for the entire program.
Cost
PreK-K Program (morning session only): $200 per week
PreK-K Program (full day) and School Age Program: $350 per week
Extended Day Option
For an additional fee, we offer an extended day program that runs from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and again from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Participants enjoy organized games, outdoor play, and free play led by counselors. Pick up may occur at any time during this extended period.

PreK- K Program
Available to children 4-6 years old. This program follows a modified schedule to incorporate the needs of younger children throughout the day. Children enrolled learn through a variety of engaging activities around a central theme.
Summer Sage offers a half-day option at a reduced cost. This program runs from 9:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.to include an enrichment period, creative activities, and lunch.

All Pre-K-K participants will follow the same morning schedule, which will include enrichment activities around the following themes. Full Day Pre-K- K participants will follow the School Age Program schedule in the afternoon.

Math Is Everywhere!
From building with blocks to cooking, math is truly everywhere! Join us this week if you love math and dig deeper into your world as a mathematician. Prepare to be amazed when you learn how to use your basic math skills in everyday life.
Jump Into Literacy
If you love stories and imagination, this is the place for you! Books come alive through writing, art, and acting. Get to know new authors and become reacquainted with familiar stories !
Underwater Explorations
Swim into the shallows and dive into the deep as we explore ocean creatures, big and small! You may think you already know a lot, but you have only skimmed the surface of the wonders of the sea.
Imagining the Past
Does your imagination take you places? Do you enjoy learning about different cultures? Then this week is for you! Through creative play and activities we will delve into ancient times and learn what life was like long ago.
School Age Program
Available to children 7-11 years old. This program is focused on weekly enrichment themes based on educational disciplines along with traditional day camp activities. Participants will have the opportunity to choose a focus area within each weekly theme.

Participants are responsible for bringing morning snack, water and their own lunch each day. An afternoon snack will be provided for all participants.
Special Events
Each week will feature a guest speaker or field trip in order to enrich the weekly themes.
Afternoon Activities
What is a summer without sports and games, dance and arts, and crafts? The afternoon will provide an opportunity for children to enjoy non-competitive physical activity, outdoor exploration and creative activities lead by our experienced staff.

Marvelous Math
Explore the world as a mathematician. How do we use math everyday? Read, cook, build Legos and make your own map! Math is everywhere!
Bookworms
Take your love of reading to a whole new place. This week books come alive by writing, reading, and making your own book!
Oceanography
Scientists are still learning new things about the ocean, you could be one of them! This is a whole week devoted to learning all there is to know about the vast seas that cover our planet.
Learning from the Past
Old, long ago, ancient! We are living in the past this week exploring ancient Greece, Egypt, and China. Learn what life was like for kids like you long ago!
