Week 1 (July 9 – July 13): You’re a Natural
Gardening, habitats, green living and more
Do you love the outdoors? Does the thought of “going green” excite you? Then this week is for you! Through observation, nature journals, species identification, literature, and more funtastic activities we will learn about the natural world and how we are connected to it. We will also be planting, harvesting, and working in the vegetable garden to learn more about where our food comes. So channel your inner naturalist, bring your magnifying glass, and get ready to explore!
Week 2 (July 16 – July 20): Places and Spaces
Design and build your own unique community
Are you creative and do you like to build and construct? Now is your opportunity to create your own country or city! Come spend a week learning about different types of communities and then use your imagination to make your own. Through literature, geography, math, and more, we will explore different aspects of culture and design. Who knows what amazing communities we will create!
Week 3 (July 23 – July 27) Sage Sleuths:
Discover your inner detective
Sherlock Holmes, look out! This week will be full of mysterious explorations such as scavenger hunts, solving puzzles, science experiments and more. Students will learn how to use observation, deduction, and logic reasoning skills to channel their inner detective. Each class will engage various math, science, and reading activities that will keep the students guessing and solving mysteries all week long!
Week 4 (July 30 – August 3): Academy of Magic and Wizardry
Immerse yourself in the fantastic and mythological
It may not be Hogwarts, but it will be pretty close! If you love magic, mythology, and more, then apply to join us at the Sage Academy of Magic and Wizardry. All you need is an active imagination and a deep love of all things fantastical! Through literature, science activities, and imaginative play, the Academy will turn you into a wizard in no time.
