Beginners Classroom *New for 2017-2018

Beginners Classroom (ages 3.2 to 4.2 years)

A wonderful introduction to school through creative, play-based learning.

In our Beginners program, children will have the opportunity to explore and become critical thinkers through hands-on experiences. The classroom will offer a safe and nurturing environment where children will play and learn to navigate their social relationsDSC 0082 300x200 Beginners Classroom *New for 2017 2018hips. As the children play in a child-centered environment, they will develop a positive attitude, build self-esteem and discover the excitement of learning. There will be open-ended activities and structured group time, which will allow for the development of pre-literacy and math skills as well as fine and gross motor skills. It is our goal to create a classroom community where children feel comfortable exploring, asking questions, and taking risks.

In addition to the introduction to the three core areas,  students enjoy classes in the fine and performing arts.

Students in this classroom must be bathroom independent.

Families can choose either half-day or full-day enrollment.  Before and afterschool care is available until 6:00 pm at an additional cost. The school year runs from September to the first week in June.
